About Laguna-Acoma Connections

Laguna Acoma Connections (LAC) began in 1995 with funding by the U. S. Department of Education Rehabilitation Services Administration.  LAC provides employment and training service to American Indian adults with disabilities residing on the Laguna and Acoma Reservations.  Services are also available to tribal members who reside in Albuquerque and Grants.

 

Laguna Acoma Connections can assist individuals in identifying their needs and obtaining the proper assistive technology and ultimately, gainful employment.

 

Individuals eligible for services are:

  • People with physical or mental impairment
  • People who require services in order to prepare for, enter, or obtain employment

Our goal is to improve the opportunities for American Indian

adults with disabilities to become employed.

 

To assist individuals with disabilities in becoming

contributing and employed members of the community.
